Discs Skimming
If you’re feeling vibration through the steering wheel or taking longer to come to a stop, your brake discs could be worn. We’ll either dismount the discs and replace them, or skim them without removal to restore them to working order.
Service Overview
If most of your driving is around town, you should have your brakes checked every six months on average. We’ll check your pads, discs and fluid and either replace worn components or skim your discs to restore proper performance.
Our brake skimming technology allows us to restore a smooth finish to your brake pads using a special skimming lathe, saving you the cost of a new set of pads.

Had an excellent experience with Peter’s Auto Repairs. Disks and pads all round came to half what Vauxhall and Kwik Fit quoted me. Had no surprises during the fitting and I was so pleased I got him to do additional work there and then, I will be going back in the future.
